on 2010-08-10The author uses a Sequoia tree as a symbol for fireproofing different areas of your life. It is phenominal how a Sequoia tree can withstand a forest fire, lightning strikes, outside elements etc., and still survive. This is the same way the author depicts fireproofing the major areas of our life (faith, family, finances, decision making, etc) to withstand the storms of life that come against us. Great insight and wonderful comparison!

on 2010-05-23Great book! We are big Fireproof fans. I gave this to my husband for his birthday and he loves it. I will read it when he is finished. If you want a better marriage you have to work at it. The Fireproof series is a great place to start.

on 2009-09-15THis movie made me cry at the end and that usually means it's good. It was very uplifting and encouraging formy marriage. I even bought one for my mom/ step- dad and in-laws for Christmas gifts. I highly recommend it!

on 2009-08-24the first review I read was from the authors daughter. automatically, i feel that there is a bias towards the book and the author. After reading the book I can not blame the reviewer for the review. It is a great book. If the advice is followed, A Christian will have a life worth the living. I would reccomend this book to all Christians and I have already told my pastor about it.
